Felixstowe

The harbour
Felixstowe lies on the Suffolk coast of eastern England, at the mouth of the Orwell and Stour rivers, facing the North Sea.
It is the United Kingdom's busiest container port and handles much of the country's deep-sea container trade with Asia and the rest of the world. Across the estuary lies Harwich, with ferries to the Hook of Holland, and both ports share the same approach channel. The old Landguard Fort guards the point at the harbour entrance.
Coming in from sea, a sailor sees long rows of giant container cranes rising from an otherwise low, flat coastline.
